For more than 3 decades, I have been helping dead people, the ones caught between this world and the next and supporting the living who find themselves sharing a space with those souls.  The work I perform as a Ghost Healer (psychopomp) can be humbling beyond words.  I am what’s referred to as a natural psychic.  I first became aware of this when I was a young child, when I thought everyone heard voices speaking to them from thin air, but just didn’t like to mention it.  The house I grew up in was haunted, and I thought that was normal too.

Over the years my psychic abilities developed and I focused on my work with ghosts.  I’m able to see, feel and often hear the dead person who is stuck in this world enabling me to decipher what’s stopped them from moving towards the spirit world in the first place.  I conduct my work as a psychopomp without any fuss, but with the integrity and humility it deserves.

I live in Perthshire Scotland with my husband and dogs.  Within this stunning countryside I enjoy dowsing some of the numerous standing stones and stones circles, linking in with the network of ley lines.

Most people would wish for a peaceful death, where we perhaps just die in our sleep.  Just as birth can have complications, so can death. Not only does it generally arrive unplanned, but if we’ve got unresolved issues going on in our lives then it’s hard to leave.  This is where a ‘ghost healer’ is a useful person.  Someone who is able to help that lost soul, or ghost, creating another opportunity for them to finally move towards the spirit world.    

The term ‘pyschopomp’ is possibly the correct term, from ancient Greek meaning ‘a guide of souls to the place of the dead’.  There’s other names, like ‘ghost buster’, ‘spirit rescuer’, and probably more, but because the roll of a ‘psychopomp’ has been missing from our western culture for a few centuries, we are still coming up with a fitting title.  But this meaningful job remains the same; to be of service to the troubled dead who need help.

Helping ghosts has run alongside my domestic life, but I’ve always been very good at juggling.  My experience in this field dates back over 3 decades, there’s the pubs, the stately home, numerous visits to a decommissioned 17th century prison, and numerous private homes, meeting the living and the dead along my way.  I try my best to keep a record of the experiences I’ve had over the years, with recordings and drawings.  I am not part of a group, working only with the company and guidance of my own spirit guides.
